Red brick with a touch of blue and black

The facade bricks (non-perforated) have five sand covered sides and one side with possible oblong groove. The structure looks rugged with fine and irregular grooves in the sandy surface. The baking process takes place in a gas-heated tunnel oven under slightly reduced atmosphere. The brick has a red base, and the hues vary from burgundy colour to purple with blue violet shades. The shading is obtained from a mixture of lössial clay with reddish brown, granular and moist sand and various melted oxides in accurately defined proportions. Through sintering of the brick, the different nuances of colour are obtained. The colours shown are a near reflection of reality.
