The hand-moulded brick with nuances in pink and dark-grey

Goya is a hand-moulded brick with a beige-pink surface.
The colour shades vary from salmon-pink to beige-yellow with whitepink and dark-grey nuances. The Goya hand-moulded brick is part of the Nuancerange of Nelissen Brickworks.

The Goya is made out of Löss from Limburg, extracted from the plateau of Kesselt in the Meuse valley and revalued with raw materials from the Volcanic Eifel. The non-perforated brick is covered with sand of five sides and provided with a possible oblong sloping groove on one flat side (frog, group 1). The structure of the Goya is formed by a rough appearance with fine and irregular grooves in the sandy surface. The baking process of this facing brick is done in a gas-fired tunnel kiln under a slightly reducing atmosphere.
