Cap Gris Nez Sintered
Gray palette with a touch of black
The brick has a grey base, with colours ranging from silver grey, beige grey to mouse grey. The different structures are the result of sawdust and white, fine-grained sand. Through sintering of the brick, the different nuances of colour are obtained.
The facing brick (non-perforated) is sanded on five sides, and provided with a possible oblong sloping groove on one flat side. The structure is formed by a rough appearance with fine and irregular grooves in the sandy surface. The baking process is done in a gas-fired tunnel kiln under a slightly reducing atmosphere.
