Does Wasserstrich

The facing brick with from ancient times

Does is a facing brick produced from red clay. The orange – red colour of the brick is obtained by the homogeneous mixture of Westerwald clay with German orange-clay.
The non-perforated facing brick is available in “wasserstrich” (not
sanded, with smooth surface).
The brick maintains it’s original colour by adding water instead of sand during manufacturing process. The natural colour range is obtained by baking the brick in a reducing athmosphere. The colour shades vary from red-orange to brown with scattered dark tints. In accordance with the Dutch Standard NEN EN 771-1.
